On Friday morning, Dadi told us that Katianna had two epileptic seizures overnight. We also learned that she had been in another home before coming to us. Because she had seizures while living there, they had her removed. She has been with us for about six months, but this was the first reported epileptic seizure. It is possible she had other seizures overnight before and no one noticed. But nothing escapes the attention of our new night supervisor, Dadi. Of course, we know all about epilepsy medication. We will have to find a specialist her in Haiti and have her tested.
