These daily Journals are a mystery to me. A mystery in the sense that I never know what I will write, especially during the week each month when I am in Florida. The Journals written while I’m in Florida tend toward carrying some kind of spiritual reflection, usually based on something I was reading or the Gospel reading of the day. They also include many photographs of pelicans and beautiful sunrise and sunsets. When something eventful happens in Haiti while I’m in Florida, Billy calls or e-mails me the news. I then rewrite the story for the Journal.
