My friend Patti Normile sent the following response to Saturday’s Journal:
I love your line: To listen is to be silent. Years ago, waiting for a traffic light to change, I saw the license of the car ahead of me. It said “Listen.” Before the light changed, I realized those same letters spelled “Silent.” There is so much noise in the world. It’s hard to hear God. Be silent!
