After the class on Wednesday, I asked Makingdy to come into my office. I showed him the Journal I was writing. When he saw the photo of Naïve praying, he was instantly touched. He said in his halting way that the photo of Naïve praying was an image of spirituality. He seemed delighted and moved.
What I saw was that the kids are hungry for something deeper. And by God’s grace someone has come into my life that can give them something deeper…in their own language.
