I first met Orlane (known to all as Baby) in August 2010. She was a small ten-year-old. Ever since then, she has been calling me Dad. I became, in effect, her surrogate father. Never in a million years could I have imagined that years later Baby and her half-sister, Carla, would be living in my 2nd floor residence at Santa Chiara.
