Since my hospital ordeal on Thursday morning, I’ve thought a lot about pain. As intense as my pain was, within moments of the doctor saying he was finished, the agony of the pain disappeared. On the drive home, while I experienced some discomfort, I was cracking jokes, trying to make Jarline laugh. She was very upset by listening to my crying out in pain.
