Ever faithful Billy got himself to Santa Chiara yesterday at 600am to drive me to the airport. After hugging a bunch of kids, we got into the car. Michel came with us. He has been staying at Santa Chiara because it is not safe to travel to his home outside Port-au-Prince. While staying with us, he also keeps the sputtering generator functioning. Somehow Michel knew the normal route to the airport had many trouble spots and blockades.
