In yesterday’s Journal there was a photograph of Naïca with her head bandaged which I had taken on Tuesday afternoon. Long-time Journal readers will recall her dreadful skin condition. Over the years, we’ve spent countless days at a hospital near downtown that specializes in skin diseases as well as infectious diseases. Naica’s face and much of her body was covered with ugly sores.
