I am very happy to report that the first part of the funds we raised has gone through to Haiti. We send $3,000. Once the sisters have been able to access the money (perhaps in two days) we will send the balance of the funds sent to SCCC for earthquake relief. The second wire transfer will be for $7,875. The total amount raised ($10,875) far exceeded my expectations.
