From November 22, 2021 I briefly mentioned getting sick in Uganda in Saturday’s Journal. Since then, the unpleasant incident has been on my mind. I told the story to Dr. Stéphanie as we drove somewhere, and later I told it to Gabens. On Sunday morning, I found a fuller, more detailed version of it in another unfinished writing project.
