God, being God, lacks nothing. God is the fullness of everything. God does not need our prayers. We, on the other hand, need to pray because in prayer we enter into an awareness of God’s loving Presence within us and within every particle of creation. The more aware we become of God’s Presence the more our lives are lived in the Light and Love of God.
