I was a bit down in the dumps on Thursday night. Then I watched the first 18 minutes of Part Two of my film The Loneliness and Longing of St. Francis of Assisi. The film takes the viewer on a pilgrimage through the life and spirituality of St. Francis. It is a visual mediation on the invisible world of the saint and how his sacred discoveries can help us move toward God in our own way, in our own day.
