Since its founding in May 2015, the Santa Chiara Children’s in Port-au-Prince, Haiti has strived to be a home of hope and healing for abandoned kids. The majority came from the largest and most dangerous slum in Haiti, a miserable place named Cité Soleil. They had spent their lives in tin shacks with dirt floors and without electricity or toilets.
