From April 18, 2023 Oh, what a lousy day. We were supposed to leave for the Caribbean Market at 8:30am, with Michel behind the wheel and Richard riding shotgun. Michel lives about an hour north of Port-au-Prince. About 8:15am, Gabens called to say there was trouble in Michel’s area, presumably the gangs blocked the road.

From April 17, 2023 Officer Richard called before nine yesterday morning to say he found gasoline for a reasonable price, just under $8.00 a gallon. The gas shortage in the city has become critical. It is very hard to fin a gas station with either gasoline or diesel fuel. Richard said he could get 40 gallons anddeliver it to us.
