Sunday was a tough day for me. The post-op pain was intermittent, but intense. After sitting for just a few minutes, I had a tough time getting up and the first four or five step were difficult. I found myself getting lost in old books by Gustavo Gutiérrez, as well as a few pleasant and illuminating hours I spent with him nearly twenty years ago.
