Back in January, a Journal reader and Santa Chiara donor called me to discuss an idea he had: get me back on the road giving presentations at high schools, universities, and churches. His name is Mike and he lives in Finley, Ohio and has a summer residence in South Carolina. He would accompany me (he is now retired) and speak for a few minutes about the joy of volunteering to help the poor before I took the stage.
