We are living in uncertain times. In Haiti “uncertainty’ is the only thing that is certain. For most of the people I know in Haiti, each day is a struggle for survival; uncertainty is the air they breathe. My days in Haiti are marked by uncertainty; I can’t even be sure I will be alive at the end of any day. The faith that animates my life in Haiti is dented time and again by doubt.
