This has been a demanding and draining week. I’ve barely gotten five hours sleep a night since last Monday. We purchased two more bunk beds, which arrived on Thursday. We put them in the guest room where three girls (Ally, Izzy, and Wally) have been sleeping on cots. Bency and Naïve had been lobbying for me to invite Christalanda (whom I’ve given the nickname Christy) to live on the 2nd floor. Six kids in two bunk beds. I had lost count of the kids and accidently also invited Widline to be one of the eight occupants of the former guest room.
