Late in the afternoon on violent Black Monday, a few of us second floor dwellers were a bit tired. As Jarline was giving Teresa Regina a bottle, I decided to play a selection of my favorite photographs from Uganda. Joining us for this impromptu screening was Bency. Jarline and Bency were totally captivated by the extreme poverty of the slums in the major cities and in the refugee camps.
