Yesterday’s Journal never mentioned any events from Thursday, which might give readers the impression that we finally had an easy, uneventful day. No way. Lots happened. I was just too tired to write about it. And as I write this Journal, Thursday is fading from memory under the onslaught of Friday. But one of the big things that happened on Thursday is I finally bought a small air conditioner for my office. My office is like sauna. I must keep the window closed because of the detrimental impact the dust and dirt has on my weakened lungs. Dust covers everything and even gets inside my laptop. Now that the temperature is topping 100 degrees each day, I knew I had to bit the bullet and buy an air conditioner.
