Many of the people in the caravan that is working its way through Mexico are from Honduras, and, in all likelihood, they are desperate women and children fleeing the escalating gang violence that is terrifying place like San Pedro Sula. I was happy to read in the Washington Post that many Mexican are showering the caravan with loving acts of kindness in the for of tarps, tortillas, fruit, tea, and medicine. I leave you with photographs of the women and children I filmed in Honduras…some of whom may actually be in the caravan.
